Presented by Ocean Ambassadors Canada.  Join us for a friendly discussion. This free event is made possible with support from West Vancouver Foundation. Refreshments provided. Pre-registration is required. May Topic: Volcanos
Volcanos are dangerous and exciting, as long as you are not close to them. They are not just in the Pacific Ring of Fire either. A volcano eruption in Iceland disrupted air travel. Yellowstone has a Supervolcano, if it erupts it will be called a super-eruption. A series of earthquakes has shaken Washington State’s most active volcano, Mount Adams, raising concerns among scientists. Those of us who were in Metro Vancouver remember Mount St Helen’s in 1980. If you have a story about a volcano please share it with the group.
