Roman Czemerys is a Vancouver – based artist who works primarily in ink and watercolour, capturing the character of urban and natural landscapes. Trained as an architect, his work blends structural understanding with expressive, spontaneous line. Roman has sketched in over a dozen countries and throughout British Columbia, developing a practice that values observation, curiosity, and personal expression.
Through his urban sketching workshops, Roman helps people of all skill levels overcome self-doubt and discover the simple joy of drawing. His teaching approach emphasizes a relaxed, step-by-step process that makes sketching accessible and rewarding for everyone.
