BETTER BALANCE with Surefeet For Adults 50+

If you have had a fall recently or are nervous about falling, then this class is for you. Rebuild balance and strength, fine tune flexibility, lower your risk of falling, and regain independence. Recommended by doctors and physiotherapists, this balance and mobility program emphazises fall and injury preventing for seniors that are the moderate to high risk for falls. An Exercise and education program for people living with Parkinson’s. PWR!4LIfe with Surefeet is about teaching you what you can do to reach your full potential and get the most out of your life. We all want to be happy, and there are countless ideas about what happiness is and how we can get some. But not many of those ideas are based on science. That’s where this course comes in. Join us to view lectures and discuss this course that teach the ground-breaking science of positive psychology, which explores the roots of a happy and meaningful life. The course will zero in on a fundamental finding from positive psychology: that happiness is inextricably linked to having strong social connections and contributing to something bigger than yourself—the greater good.

Ideal classes for those interested in taking the first steps in learning this love language. Sessions will be interactive, friendly and fun.

Beginner Level 1: Alphabet & numbers (5 classes) - Cost: $125

Learn the alphabet (spelling and pronunciation), special letters (CH, LL, n and RR), tongue twisters, numbers, fractions, measurements, math words and money.  Also build some vocabulary

Come join a friendly, informal group that meets Friday mornings. There is always coffee and conversation as participants work on their own knitting,crochet or other projects. This is a great opportunity to share your work, get tips on new techniques, and make new friends. Newcomers are always welcome.

Come and enjoy yourself. No partner needed. This is a fun way to
stay fit, meet new friends and dance to a great variety of music
